About

imageA journey can be anything from traveling to distant lands to learning how to create a butterfly farm or growing an herb garden. Anything we set out to do in life can be a meaningful journey. I love to travel and document my tours or adventures with photos. Let me take you with me on a few of my journeys…

My new travel blog is trillastravels.com. I’m a correspondent and seasoned travel writer for The Tribune newspaper in the suburbs of Houston. http://www.ourtribune.com

I faced my biggest blogging challenge in the April-June 2013, as I made the journey of a lifetime — 41 days on the Mariner of the Seas Royal Caribbean cruise ship sailing from Galveston, TX, to Singapore. Bahamas, Portugal, Gibraltar, Spain, Egypt, Jordan, Dubai, India, Malaysia, Singapore  – including a pirate drill and precautions in the Sea of Adin. Read about it here!

In April and May 2016 I’ll be sailing across the Atlantic once again to Bermuda, England, Germany, France, and staying over in London. Can’t wait! Starting to blog about this cruise on July 17, 2016.

I love to travel and I love to write! I’m a freelance writer, so I’m available to write about your location if requested. Please contact me at trillacook@gmail.com.
